Hola! |
My name’s Stephanie Guillermina Castro and I’m a 1st generation queer Andean woman with a passion for creative humanitarian storytelling and supporting others. For the past 6 years, I've been working with international and national NGO's providing digital media and traditional communications strategy and content creation. During my free time you can find me supporting & advocating for people before, during, & after their births as a doula, performing sketch comedy around New York, co-organizing fundraising events with Money2ThePeople, designing jewelry, and creating multi-medium works of art that range from abstract to tackling subjects like feminism, culture, representation of people of color, Latinidad, indigeneity, immigration & more. But no matter what hat I’m wearing, I’m always on a mission to be the person who I needed when I was younger and empower those around me. Through radical acts of love I'm helping build a just world rooted in dignity & respect.
